How did your journey into the financial industry begin?

I have enjoyed a career in banking and finance for over 30 years. I started Glenelg Finance 11 years ago. I wanted to offer a better experience with personalised service, giving my clients access to over 40 different banks and lenders.

What sets your business apart?

At Glenelg Finance we spend time to get to know our clients and tailor a finance solution to their needs not just for now but for the future.

What type of services do you offer?

We provide options for both consumer clients and business clients. We can help with financing cars, caravans, boats, motorbikes, personal loans, trucks, and business equipment loans. We also specialise in Low Doc loans for our business clients. This means in most cases no financials are needed and we generally have an approval on the same day.

How do you create a unique experience for your customers?

With our state-of-the-art tech we can we offer the client options to complete applications and sign ups remotely or at our office. We can even meet at their homes. We understand everyone is busy and we try and make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.

What do your customers love about what you offer?

They love our personalised service; our clients are not a number to us. We build a friendship and help them on their financial journey every step of the way.

What are your top tips in the finance space?

Clients should have a financial plan a budget, and set financial goals. It is important to know your budget. For example, when looking for a vehicle, have a budget in mind, a comfortable payment per month and stick with it.

What trends do you foresee in the industry?

We are seeing new vehicles are much more readily available. As this is happening, the used car market is becoming much more affordable, and the prices on used vehicles are reducing.

How did your journey into the financial industry begin?

My journey started 25 years ago with car finance. I then moved into mortgage brokering. I love helping people and always wanted to have a business where I could personalise service at the ultimate level.

What sets your business apart?

We are boutique lending specialists where our customers are not a number and are all treated equally. We offer a personalised approach with clear communication to deliver the very best outcome.

What type of services do you offer?

We can help with home loans, car loans, personal loans, refinance options, debt consolidation and business/equipment finance.

How do you create a unique experience for your customers?

We listen to their needs first and foremost then we personalise our service around those needs.

What do your customers love about what you offer?

Clear communication and results. We offer personalised service and are motivated to get the very best result for our customers. We have helped many customers achieve their property goals and receive many referrals because of this. We are also the 2023 Fast Business Excellence Awards winner for residential broker group 5+ Brokers in SA & NT.

What are your top tips in the finance space?

My tips would be to minimise debt. Stay away from the buy no and pay later products.

What trends do you foresee in the industry?

I see a high demand for property and consumers are becoming more aware of negotiating interest rates with their lenders.
