The State Open Water Swimming Championships will be held at Somerton Beach.

Organised by Marion Masters Swim Club, with support from Somerton SLSC, this swimming event is contested over 1km to 3km distances. It promises to be a fun-filled morning, with the Somerton SLSC plaza and cafe providing a great vantage point from which to view the races. The race is open to swimmers aged 18 years+ and registered Swimming SA members 14 years+. Swimmers are invited to check in from 8.30 - 9.30am, with the race starting at 10am. All welcome for presentations held in the Somerton SLSC after the races.
